Title

Catalysis for Green Chemistry

Subject

Chemistry
Inorganic chemistry

Description

Synthetic chemistry has greatly enriched people’s lives and dramatically changed the world in a multitude of aspects due to its impressive capacity to construct diverse functional groups and structurally complex molecules. However, traditional synthetic reactions normally suffer from low atom economy, harsh conditions, as well as hazardous waste production. Recently, the general principles of green chemistry have required the design of environmentally benign organic reactions, which is of great importance for the sustainable development of our society.
