Description

Vocational education and training (VET) systems are increasingly recognized not only as pathways to employment but also as critical mechanisms for fostering lifelong learning, personal development, and social cohesion. Research in this field spans diverse topics, including the integration of soft skills into educational programs, the challenges and opportunities of work-place learning, and the inclusive practices that are required for equitable education. While advancements in pedagogy and technology have enhanced the potential of VET, challenges remain in aligning training with dynamic labor market needs, ensuring access and equity, and supporting the holistic development of learners.
