This Special Issue highlights personalized medicine's impact on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance management. Kopf et al. investigated painkiller use in amateur football, revealing that 36.2% of players used painkillers for pain relief. While 74% of coaches opposed their use in competition, 56.2% admitted to using them, indicating a need for preventive measures.
